Dr. Thomas Repas brings an extraordinary level of expertise to HHWC, with a distinguished career in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. He completed his fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Wisconsin and holds board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, and Internal Medicine. Dr. Repas is also a Certified Diabetes Educator and has earned various accreditations, including Advanced Wilderness Life Support and the Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound.
Dr. Repas has extensive clinical and research experience, having served as a principal investigator in numerous clinical trials focused on diabetes management and cardiovascular risk. His professional experience spans several states, including Wyoming, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Nevada, where he has contributed significantly to the field of endocrinology through both practice and academia. He has held several key positions, such as Staff Physician at Campbell County Health and Medical Director at Regional Medical Clinic’s Diabetes Education program.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Repas has been actively involved in numerous professional committees and has a robust publication record. He has served on the Nutrition Committee of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and has been a member of several diabetes prevention and control programs at state and national levels.
