Q: What motivated you to specialize in your area of expertise?
A: Neurology deals with some of the most complex and intricate systems in the human body. This diversity allows for a wide range of interests and career paths within the field, offering a challenging and intellectually stimulating environment that encompasses various subspecialties, such as stroke, epilepsy, neurodegenerative diseases, and neuromuscular disorders.
Dr. Reddy is a member of several esteemed organizations, including the American Stroke Association, the American Neurological Association, and the American Academy of Neurology. He has been awarded several grants and scholarships by prestigious organizations.
A firm believer of neurological well-being as crucial to overall health, he continues to advocate for a holistic approach in neurological care, emphasizing the importance of neuroprotective lifestyle changes and integrating mental health into his treatment.
Q: How do you practice patient care and treatment planning?
A: In a novel and compassionate manner. I see the patient as a key partner in their own care. By providing clear, honest information about their condition, treatment options, and potential outcomes, my patients can make informed decisions that align with their values and goals. Neurological conditions and their treatments might impact mental health and vice versa, so addressing mental health is integral to holistic care. Instead of just addressing isolated symptoms, I integrate several key principles aimed at treating the whole person.
Q: How does this community align with your approach to care?
A: Having spent time here, I have come to deeply appreciate the warmth, friendliness, and strong sense of community among its residents. The people of Gillette are remarkably supportive and welcoming, making it a wonderful place to live and work. I strongly appreciate the clinic’s initiative to provide better and modern healthcare and the philanthropic initiative to give back to the community. I have a strong passion for neurology and I am particularly interested in the innovative work and research being done at the clinic, especially in the field of neurology and wellness.
Q: What new methods of care are you looking forward to introducing that could improve how patients are treated, or supported?
A: I’m looking forward to working with a team of neurologists, psychologists, physical therapists, and dietitians to provide a holistic approach to treatment and rehabilitation. I also plan to implement advanced neuroimaging techniques like high-resolution MRI scans to improve diagnostic accuracy, better understand neurological conditions physiological parameters, and provide real-time data to inform treatment decisions.
With the addition of Dr. Reddy, Hoskinson Health and Wellness Clinic continues to expand community-focused care, integrating all elements of care into a single, streamlined system to elevate treatment standards, closely monitor outcomes, drive continuous improvement, and support impactful research in the field.
