Dr. Alex Lechin is a highly experienced, triple board-certified physician specializing in pulmonary medicine, critical care, and sleep medicine. With decades of clinical, academic, and leadership experience, Dr. Lechin provides comprehensive care for patients with complex respiratory and sleep-related conditions, including COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, and other pulmonary disorders.

Dr. Lechin completed his medical degree at the Central University of Venezuela before pursuing advanced training in the United States, including internal medicine residency and fellowships in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine at leading institutions such as Baylor College of Medicine.

Throughout his career, he has held numerous leadership roles, including Medical Director of sleep disorder centers, critical care units, and lung specialty programs. He has also served in academic positions at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Houston, contributing to the education and training of future healthcare professionals.

Dr. Lechin is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and has been recognized multiple times as one of Houston’s top pulmonologists. His work includes extensive research and publications in respiratory and sleep-related diseases, reflecting his commitment to advancing patient care and outcomes.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Lechin is dedicated to delivering patient-centered, compassionate care to diverse populations.
