Angel Rodriguez, MD

Dr. Angel M. Rodriguez is a highly accomplished psychiatrist with a distinguished career spanning several decades. Currently serving as the Medical Director of the Geriatric-Behavioral Unit at the Hospital of Providence Memorial Campus and a psychiatric consultant at Emergence Health Network, Dr. Rodriguez has extensive expertise in geriatric psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, and transcranial magnetic stimulation. He completed his fellowship at Duke University and holds clinical professorships at Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Dr. Rodriguez is board-certified in multiple specialties, including forensic psychiatry, adolescent psychiatry, and managed care medicine.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Rodriguez is a Vietnam-era Naval Officer who retired as a Lieutenant Commander. He is also a registered occupational therapist and a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional. Dr. Rodriguez's contributions to psychiatry are complemented by his passion for the arts, as he is a recording artist known as "El Doctor De La Salsa" and a proud father of Grammy Award-winning musicians.
