Cheryl Varner, MD

ENT

Dr. Cheryl Varner is a board-certified otolaryngologist (ENT) with extensive experience providing comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care to patients of all ages. She currently practices in Sheridan, Wyoming, where she is known for her thorough, patient-centered approach and commitment to high-quality care.

Dr. Varner completed her medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine and went on to complete a general surgery internship and otolaryngology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating magna cum laude from Arizona State University.

With over two decades of clinical experience, Dr. Varner has practiced in both hospital and outpatient settings, offering a broad scope of ENT services. In addition to her civilian medical career, she serves as a Captain in the United States Navy Reserve, where she is fully credentialed as a General Medical Officer and Otolaryngologist.

Dr. Varner is board certified in Otolaryngology and maintains active certifications in ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and TCCC. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.


Outside of medicine, Dr. Varner enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. Her interests include snow skiing, ice hockey, horseback riding, weightlifting, hunting, camping, and outdoor activities with her husband and son.
