
Cheryl Drost, AuD
Cheryl Drost is a Doctor of Audiology with more than 25 years of clinical and supervisory experience across private practice, specialty clinics, and educational settings. She received her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Florida, following both her master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Northern Illinois University.
Dr. Drost’s career spans leadership roles in clinical audiology, including serving as Supervising Clinical Audiologist at Wyoming Otolaryngology in Casper. She also founded Sound Audiology Hearing Aids, Consulting, LLC, where she directed private practice audiology services.
Earlier in her career, Dr. Drost practiced in Montana as both a clinical and educational audiologist, contributing to hearing health in school systems, and working with other medical providers to ensure appropriate interventions for children with hearing loss. From diagnostic testing and hearing aid dispensing to patient counseling and rehabilitation planning, she is skilled in the full spectrum of audiological services.
Recognized for her work mentoring students and professionals in audiology, Drost consistently fosters environments that emphasize evidence-based care and strong clinical outcomes. Today, she continues to advance hearing healthcare through practice, mentorship, and collaboration.
When she is not caring for her patients, she appreciates discovering new approaches and philosophies in life. She also enjoys listening to music, hiking, fly-fishing, and spending time with horses, as well as sharing laughter, food and time with her family and friends.
