Jody Brown

Jody Brown is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly three decades of healthcare experience, including 23 years as a registered nurse and advanced practice training rooted in serving rural and underserved communities.

Jody most recently provided comprehensive primary care services at Crook County Medical Services District in Moorcroft, Wyoming, with an additional focus on functional medicine. She delivered evidence-based, whole-person care to patients of all ages, emphasizing prevention, chronic disease management, and long-term wellness.

Previously, Jody practiced at Campbell County Health Walk-In Clinic and Occupational Health in Gillette, Wyoming, where she provided episodic, preventive, acute, and chronic care across the lifespan. Her occupational health expertise includes DOT physicals, surveillance exams, medical monitoring, return-to-work evaluations, and Workers’ Compensation medical guidance.

From 2019 to 2022, she served at Grand River Hospital District in Colorado, providing compassionate, holistic family medicine care in outpatient primary care, urgent care, respiratory clinic, and home-based settings.

Her 23-year nursing career includes 15 years in primary care family medicine and five years in hospital-based settings, including labor and delivery, emergency care, medical-surgical nursing, and skilled swing bed care. Her broad clinical background includes chronic disease management, neurology support, preventive care, Medicare Annual Wellness Visits, care coordination, diagnostic testing, and in-office procedures.

Jody earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Regis University in Denver, graduating with honors. She received a competitive fellowship award through a joint program with the Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence designed to grow advanced practice providers within rural and underserved communities.

She holds active Wyoming RN and APRN licensure with prescriptive authority and maintains DEA registration. She is board certified through AANP and ANCC and is DOT certified. Additional certifications include BLS, ACLS, and Nexplanon training.
