Mary Ann Miranda, MD

Allergy & Clinical Immunology

Dr. Mary Ann Miranda brings more than 18 years of experience to her patients, with expertise in both Internal Medicine and the specialty of Allergy and Immunology. She completed her residency at Hurley Medical Center, Michigan State University, and went on to a fellowship at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital / University of South Florida, where she gained advanced training across a wide spectrum of medical disciplines.

As a strong advocate for her patients, Dr. Miranda is committed to making allergy and immunology care both accessible and comprehensive. She provides diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of conditions, including environmental, food, and drug allergies; asthma; urticaria (hives); chronic rhinosinusitis; nasal polyps; and primary immune deficiency disorders.

Dr. Miranda’s academic work includes research in Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD), along with a published review on allergies related to cats, dogs, and exotic animals. Her studies have appeared in The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and she has presented at major national meetings, including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and the Clinical Immunology Society (CIS).

Outside of medicine, Dr. Miranda values family life with her husband and their two daughters. She enjoys traveling, gardening, and movies, finding balance between her professional work and personal passions.
