Samarth Virmani, MD, DABOM, CCD

Samarth Virmani, MD, DABOM, CCD, is board certified in endocrinology and obesity medicine. He specializes in diabetes management, thyroid and adrenal disorders, metabolic bone diseases, obesity medicine, and weight loss.

Dr. Virmani received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Central Florida/HCA GME Consortium followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Houston Methodist Hospital, and cancer care at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Dedicated to advancing research and education in endocrinology, Dr. Virmani actively participates in several professional organizations, including the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, the American Thyroid Association, the National Lipid Association, the International Society of Clinical Densitometry, and the Obesity Medicine Association.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Virmani enjoys weight training, and sports such as squash, table tennis, and cricket. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Kannada, Punjabi, and Urdu, with a basic understanding of Spanish. His expertise and medical knowledge allow him to take a collaborative approach in guiding patients toward achieving their health goals.
