
Sapna Raghunathan, MD, FACE
Sapna Raghunathan, MD, FACE, is triple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Metabolism, and Obesity Medicine. Her clinical and research interests encompass a wide spectrum of endocrine diseases, including thyroid, pituitary, and adrenal disorders, as well as diabetes and obesity management.
After earning her medical degree from Deccan College of Medical Sciences in India, Dr. Raghunathan completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Griffin Hospital, a Yale-affiliated program. She then went on to serve as Chief Resident at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.
Named a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology in 2024, Dr. Raghunathan has published and presented widely on topics such as differentiated thyroid cancer, sleep quality in thyroid carcinoma patients, and novel therapeutics in diabetes. She is also an active reviewer for peer-reviewed journals including Current Opinion in Endocrine and Metabolic Research and Clinical Case Reports (AACE), and she has served as a content reviewer for ENDO 2024 and the ACP MKSAP 20th Edition.
An active member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, and American College of Physicians, she brings a specialized experience to her practice.
